Space to share your Dharma
The Sanskrit word Dharma comes from the root “dhri” which means to uplift or uphold. One meaning is that which upholds & sustains goodness. In other traditions, it can refer to a particular set of teachings. I use the word here to refer to your specific purpose, and what it is about the yoga path that you are inspired to share with others.
Ideally, you are a competent guide because of the strength of your own personal practice and an authentic desire and readiness to teach. The Ease approach to yoga is one that is student-focused, with the teacher positioned as servant - not guru. We are interested in classes that go beyond yoga asana, and teachers who weave yoga in its many expressions into their everyday lives.
If you'd like to teach at Ease, the first step is to send an email to Jerry with your resume, bio, a copy of your teaching certificate, one reference from a past yoga teacher and one reference from a current or pass yoga student.
