How do we keep our hearts open and compassion alive without sacrificing our own well-being?
How can we take a stand against ignorance and injustice without becoming entangled in anger and frustration?
How do we become courageous participants in this current wave of awakened feminine power in a balanced, healthy way?
This yoga experience is designed to explore these questions, bringing our whole selves to this important inquiry. We will use meditation, focused breath work, physical yoga postures, guided self-inquiry, group reflection and witnessing, and restorative yoga practices to delve deeply into this topic.
The physical part of our practice will include postures to open the heart and strengthen the back and core, and each participant will be given a copy of the sequence we use to incorporate into her home practice.
Participants should wear comfortable, loose, clothing. Please bring water and a journal. This workshop is open to all women, and no prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary.
