Pilates Mat & Props Special Wednesday Class Series This Week Through May 30, 2018 6:00 PM
Pilates is a method that focuses on core strength, balance, exibility, and control. It is suitable for everyone, regardless of their fitness level. Pilates has proven to be beneficial for those who are rehabilitating injuries, dealing with postural issues, and living with chronic pain. In this class series we will learn the foundations of the Pilates method and how to integrate these principles into our daily activities as we come to identify our movement patterns. This series will also include myofascial release techniques to increase mobility and breath work to improve our mind body connection.
Our instructor, Carissa Fernandez, has been teaching Pilates in both fitness and therapeutic settings since 2013. She is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, RYT-200 Yoga instructor, certified TRX instructor, and Reiki master.
Because space is limited, this class requires payment when you register on our schedule page. Members and class pack holders will be charged one credit; this class series is included at no charge to our Monthly Autopay Unlimited Members ($120/month membership level). Our New Student Intro special does not include this special class series.
