Coming to Classes at Ease...
We work hard to make our yoga studio a welcoming space.
Here are some general guidelines to make your visit a pleasant one.

FAQs
May I borrow a yoga mat?
We have some mats available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. We don't charge for our mats. We have EO wipes on the prop shelf, please be sure to wipe a borrowed mat off before you place it back. We highly recommend B Mat for their varied selection and excellent grip.
Do you sell mats or have a retail section at your studio?
No, we focus on the practice! There are lots of great shops around town with established retail offerings - we encourage you to patronize them! We love Luma, The Third Hand Store in Ben Lomond, and Encore Resale in Scotts Valley
What kind of yoga do you teach?
We teach a variety of styles, but we are 8 Limbs studio, meaning that we focus on the practice beyond yoga asana. This commitment to yoga beyond asana infuses our Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Gentle, Restorative and all of our therapeutic classes and workshops with qualities designed to take your yoga practice beyond fitness. If you are interested in yoga therapy, please visit Juko's web site.
Do you rent out the studio for workshops?
We do, depending on availability and what kind of event you'd like to host. Please note that shoes are never allowed in our sacred space and we do not allow alcohol, cannabis-related events, or animals other than those assisting people with disabilities in our studio. No goats, no exceptions. Email Jerry for information.
Do you have heated classes?
We have heat and A/C to ensure that our classes are comfortable in both the summer and the winter. We do not offer hot yoga. The nearest hot yoga studio is Yoga 9 in Boulder Creek.
What was that song you played in class? I never heard it before.
We are proud supporters of the independent music platform YogiTunes, and you can email Juko to be put on our mailing list and get links to our favorite independent Soundcloud artists with our newsletter.
I'm pregnant. Do you have prenatal classes?
Not specifically, but we offer modifications for pregnant women who attend our classes and support them to trust their body wisdom and their practice. Luma Yoga in Santa Cruz is an excellent place to find prenatal classes.
